About the Festival and Wide Angle
The Who Are You? Youth Media Festival gives 300 youth from 5th – 12th grade an opportunity to showcase their talents in video, photography, poetry, performance, and fine art in a month‐long celebration at CENTERSTAGE. From October‐March, workshops are conducted at schools and after school programs –while the 12 Youth Festival Committee members design and curate the festival.
Wide Angle Youth Media is a 501c3 non‐profit that provides Baltimore youth with media education to tell their own stories and become engaged in their communities. Through after school programs, community events, our annual Youth Media Festival, and our youth‐run television show, Wide Angle strives to make media make a difference.

Friday February 25th!
Please join us, on Friday, Feb. 25th, from 4-5pm in the Meyerhoff Private Dining Room for an informational session about creating an Active Minds Student Chapter at MICA.
By developing and supporting chapters of a student-run mental health awareness, education, and advocacy group on campuses, Active Minds works to increase students’ awareness of mental health issues, provide information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness, encourage students to seek help as soon as it is needed, and serve as liaison between students and the mental health community.
Active Minds aims to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health issues, and create a comfortable environment for an open conversation about mental health issues on campuses throughout North America.
